Narendra Singh Negi is one of the most famous folk singers from the area. Among the other most renowned folk singers are Chader Singh Rahi, Meena Rana, Gajendra Singh Rana, Sangeeta Dhoundiyal, Pritam Bhartwan, Basanti Bisht, and Madhuri Barthwal.
